Below is a small selection of past work. Have a question about a specific project or our experience with a particular service? We’re happy to chat.

Publication Design | Vision Zero Network

Vision Zero Network is a national nonprofit working to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries while advancing safe, healthy, and equitable mobility for all.

I’ve partnered with the organization on report design that helps complex, data-heavy information feel clear, approachable, and useful. My role has included layout and visual design, creating graphics and charts, and advising on how to structure and communicate information for a broad audience of advocates, policymakers, and practitioners. Beyond aesthetics, I focus on helping reports tell a cohesive story, guiding how data, narrative, and visuals work together so key insights are easy to understand, share, and act on.

Website Strategy & Design | Local Motion

Local Motion works to advance safe, accessible walking, biking, and transit across Missouri communities.

I conceptualized and created new websites for Local Motion and one of its initiatives, CoMo Livable Streets, facilitating strategy sessions, developing structure and mockups, collaborating with staff, and supporting a developer through the build to ensure the final sites reflected each organization’s mission and goals.

Creative Content Production | Missouri Folk Arts

Missouri Folk Arts, a partnership between the Missouri Arts Council and the University of Missouri in Columbia, supports the preservation and celebration of Missouri’s living folk and traditional arts.

I’ve provided graphic and video support for the program’s Show Me Folk initiative, Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program, and Living Traditions Fellowship, creating visual and storytelling materials that elevate artists’ work and make programs accessible to broad audiences. I’ve also designed display cases (2025 and 2026) for the entrance of the University of Missouri Museum of Art and Archaeology, translating traditional arts programming into engaging, public-facing exhibits.

Stategic Communications | Columinate

Columinate is a worker-owned market research cooperative that helps organizations better understand their audiences and make informed decisions.

I served as a contract marketing coordinator, acting as the organization’s sole marketing support and providing cross-organizational strategic communications assistance. My work included writing and editing content for the website and social media, creating graphics for web and social, promoting events, supporting consultants across the cooperative, and participating in team and client calls to align marketing with ongoing research and engagement work.

Event Planning & Production | Oddball Hoedown

Oddball Hoedown is a queer-centered, gender-inclusive folk dance event based in Kansas City that brings people together through live traditional music, dance, and community.

I’m the founder and organizer, coordinating venues, musicians, dance callers, and sound professionals to produce quarterly events that consistently sell out. The event has been featured by KCUR; and in 2025, received a Rocket Grants project award, a program of Charlotte Street and the Spencer Museum of Art, with funding from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

Civic Engagement | The Beacon

As Director of Civic Partnerships and Engagement at The Beacon, I launched the Kansas City Documenters program, building civic infrastructure that brings community members directly into the process of local journalism and government.

The program trains and compensates residents to attend and document public meetings, expanding access to information while helping newsrooms across the region better understand what’s happening in local government. I oversaw strategy, partnerships, training, and operations, designing systems that connect community insight to reporting in meaningful, measurable ways.

Video Storytelling | Various Clients

I have experience producing documentaries, along with short-form video for social media, longer-form interviews, event recaps, and spotlights that highlight organizations’ work and impact. I also have video editing experience shaping preexisting footage into clear, compelling narratives.

I’ve created video projects for a range of clients and employers, including the Mid-America Regional Council (program spotlights, interviews, initiative highlights, event recaps, and social media video content), and Oldtime Central and have received funding support from ArtsKC for a community film screening. I’ve also completed audio and video storytelling intensives through the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies at the Maine College of Art & Design.
